BAS Part Sales

BAS is the sister company of the highly regarded Beegles Aircraft Services.

In 2010, the President & Co-Founder of BAS Part Sales, Jared Boles, and Co-Founder Scott Mauch started selling airplane parts for Beegles Aircraft Services. In 2012, BAS Part Sales officially took off and became its own entity. Originally working out of the Beegles wreck hauling shop, BAS Part Sales moved into our first hangar in 2012.

In 2017, BAS Part Sales bought ACME Salvage and the JW Duff Aircraft Company inventory and hangar in Greeley, CO. This first large acquisition led to the creation of over 40,000 online listings for airplane parts totaling more than 190,000 items. This also provided BAS the opportunity to completely renovate the 48,000-square-foot hangar and build the current state-of-the-art headquarters facility at Greeley Airport.

In 2023, BAS Part Sales acquired White Industries in Bates City, MO, expanding the operation to two states, acquiring quite a few employees, over 2,000 fuselages, and roughly 100K sq ft of hangar space containing millions of parts for general aviation and business jet models - read more. Again, in 2023 BAS Part Sales acquired an additional 15,000 sq ft of hangar space at the Greeley, CO airport to expand the Research Team capacity and the availability of climate-controlled aviation parts storage - read more. These acquisitions bring the total BAS hangar space to over 163,000 sq ft.

Jared Boles

Owner

Jared is the man who started it all. Before establishing BAS, he was a shop hand, wreck hauler, shipper, parts manager, IT manager, and sales manager for Beegles Aircraft Service in Greeley, CO. As the Parts Manager for Beegles, Jared grew frustrated with how much work it took to find the parts that Beegles needed. The number of phone calls, the waiting, and the lack of good information, traceability, and pictures drove him bananas. This frustration with the stagnant and status-quo airplane parts industry led Jared to innovate a better way. He started selling parts on eBay, then bought an airplane to disassemble for parts...and the rest is history. Jared's knack for innovation eventually led to BAS Part Sales becoming its own entity, with locations in two states and over 160,000 sq ft of indoor parts warehousing - a true powerhouse in the aviation parts business worldwide. Jared is a lead-from-the-front kind of entrepreneur, and his favorite part about being the business owner is creating relationships with his employees. Jared is also a dedicated family man, and you can always find him at a baseball game, whether at a Rockies game or at his son's. He also enjoys spending time with his family on the slopes or on the boat.

Scott Mauch

Owner

Scott Mauch started his aviation career in 1989 at Colorado Aerotech, where he received his A&P License. In March of 1991, Scott found himself in the engine shop at Beegles Aircraft. Starting from the bottom and working his way up, Scott learned all facets of the company, from sheet metal repair to engine work to wreck hauling. His loving wife, two kids, and grandchild are Scott’s pride and joy and whom he loves to spend his free time with. When Scott is not working, he loves the outdoors, whether hunting or boating on the lake. Today, you will find Scott running the day-to-day operation at Beegles Aircraft Services, leading a diverse team of expert aviation repair technicians.

Nolan Lanckriet

Finance Director

Nolan came on board with BAS as a Shop Hand in 2017. He quickly became a valuable asset to the company, working as a mechanic before assuming the responsibility of managing the books for BAS. Nolan led the charge to build the first BAS e-commerce website, spending countless hours researching the processes and best practices required to complete the daunting task. Today, Nolan serves as the Finance Director and, with a constant finger on the pulse, provides a deep and valuable contribution to the company's financial health. Nolan also plays a big role in aircraft acquisitions at BAS Part Sales, buying aircraft from all over the country from a wide range of sources and scenarios. You will find Nolan shooting, working out, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and family outside of work.

Clinton McJenkin

Sales & Marketing Director

Clinton came on board in 2022 to take on all things marketing, brand, and e-commerce related. With the largest and best website in the industry and the industry's only mobile app, he has his hands full. Clinton quickly assumed a wide range of responsibilities - leading the Sales, E-Commerce, and Marketing teams that help BAS satisfy a global customer base while constantly promoting and elevating the BAS brand. You will find Clinton at numerous industry events throughout the year, publishing the BAS Blog and making social media content, among his many, many other responsibilities. His favorite part of the job is meeting customers at trade shows and hearing their success stories. Make sure you stop by our booth at the next show and say "Hello" to Clinton. Outside the hangar, Clinton is on the jiu jitsu mat, backpacking in the Rocky Mountain wilderness, and always hanging with his kids.

Matt Rangel

Sales Manager

Matt started in 2011 before BAS was officially established. Initially, Matt worked as a shop hand at our sister company Beegles Aircraft Services. Eventually, Matt would become the first parts researcher and lister for what would become BAS Part Sales. He would go on to work as the shipper before settling into his current sales role, where he enjoys helping customers locate those hard-to-find aviation parts. Matt also manages the BAS eBay store. It's always amazing how many people in the general aviation world know Matt from calling BAS over the years. He always enjoys putting faces with names when we attend trade shows throughout the year. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello to Matt next time. He enjoys spending time with his friends and growing family. And he is always up for some thin-crust pizza.

Michael Rangel

Sales | Fulfillment Manager

Mike started with BAS as a cleaner in August 2015. He was a mechanic, the shipper/receiver, and now he is the fulfillment manager and a key sales rep for BAS. If you message us through Facebook or email Sales, Mike is likely the guy on the other end of the conversation. He loves being able to do any kind of mechanic work whenever he gets the chance. You can find Mike at the gym, hanging out with family/friends, shooting, or enjoying the fresh air. Mike will never say no to his mom's cooking because anything she makes is his favorite.

Geoff Watkins

Turbine Shop Sales | Special Projects

Geoff started working at BAS in January 2015 and has been integral to the company's growth. He honed his aviation knowledge over the years, working as a shop hand, cleaner, and parts lister. When BAS acquired Acme Salvage in 2017 from Bill Duff, Geoff took on the role of Duff Store Manager and produced over the course of two and a half years over 40,000 eBay listings from the Acme inventory, totaling 180,000 plus aviation items for sale. Eventually, Geoff moved into the Research and Listing Manager role before settling into his full-time sales role. He enjoys walk-in customers the most and is always happy to help in person or on the phone. Geoff enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, and doing anything outdoors as often as possible.

David Saffer

Disassembly Shop Manager

Dave has been with BAS since January 2013. He has done research, cleaning, handling logbooks, office remodeling, and disassembly and is now the Shop Manager. Dave enjoys helping his team of mechanics whenever they need it. You'll usually find Dave in the disassembly hangar with tools in hand. During break time, the months-long pool tournament in the game room is always fun with Dave. He loves messing with RC cars and doing jiu jitsu with his kids...and eating pizza.

Bailey Templeman

Care & Culture Manager | HR

Bailey joined BAS in 2023 as our Care & Culture Manager—a role created to intentionally support and strengthen the incredible work environment that defines who we are. At BAS, culture isn’t a buzzword; it’s the way we operate day in and day out, grounded in values like honesty, kindness, and genuine connection. Bailey’s focus is on nurturing our internal community, staying connected with teams across departments and states, and ensuring that our people feel supported, valued, and united. Much of BAS’s success stems from how well our team collaborates and cares for one another, and Bailey plays a key role in protecting and evolving that culture so it continues to grow alongside the company. Bailey enjoys discovering local coffee shops and breweries, finding new board games for the next game night and spending time outdoors with her fiancé, Michael and their sweet pup, Briar.

Matthew Brewe

BAS Kansas City General Manager

Matthew joined the BAS team when we acquired White Industries in March of 2023. Matt has been a great addition to the Leadership Team as he manages the day-to-day operations at BAS Kansas City. Matt is a University of Central Missouri graduate with a degree in Aviation Technology. He is a licensed pilot and is active with Pilots for Christ, participating in an array of mercy flights throughout the midwestern U.S. Matt started his aviation career in 1997 at White Industries as an Inventory Control Specialist. Over his 25-year career with the former White Industries, Matt worked as a Shipping Manager, Mechanic, Purchaser, Sales Rep, Researcher, IT Manager, and finally as the now BAS Kansas City General Manager. Matt is married to his college sweetheart and enjoys watching KC sports, flying as often as possible, and spending time with his two daughters.
