Cessna 500 Citation I Parts Coming Soon From BAS Part Sales
Posted by Clinton McJenkin on Aug 16th 2026
A Cessna 500 Citation has arrived in the BAS turbine shop, although this one needed considerably more than a flight plan to get here. After an off-runway excursion ended its flying career, the aircraft was de-winged on-site and transported to BAS by trailer. Underneath the unusual arrival is the airplane that established the original Citation formula and became the foundation for generations of Cessna business jets. Now it is entering disassembly, with useful Citation components preparing for their next assignment in the fleet.
