At BAS Part Sales we currently have two hardworking classics in the hangar that are entering their next chapter the turbocharged Cessna T207 and the Piper PA 34 200T Seneca II. Both aircraft earned their reputations in completely different corners of general aviation yet share the same legacy of toughness performance and utility. The T207 is known for hauling big loads into demanding backcountry environments while the Seneca II has long been a favorite twin for training charter work and personal travel. As our team begins preparing each airframe for teardown we are excited to give these machines a second life by supplying high quality parts to the operators who keep them flying.

Piper PA-34-200T
The Piper PA 34 200T Seneca II is one of those rare twins that blends reliability, capability, and everyday practicality into one clean package. Introduced in the mid 1970s as an improvement over the original Seneca, the Seneca II brought better handling, stronger performance at altitude, and the unmistakable confidence of counter rotating Continental TSIO 360 engines. With turbocharged power on each wing and balanced control surfaces designed to tame the quirks of earlier models, the Seneca II quickly became a favorite for training, charter work, and personal travel.
Operators loved how the Seneca II took the foundation of the Cherokee Six and elevated it into a true multitool of the light twin world. The redesigned flight controls, improved stability, and optional club seating made long trips more comfortable, while the turbocharged engines delivered dependable performance on hot days and in high country environments. It became a popular choice for flight schools that needed a durable multiengine trainer, as well as small operators moving people or gear across short regional routes.
Right now we have a Seneca II in our hangar and our team is carefully preparing it for teardown. The PA 34 200T family is supported by a strong parts market since these aircraft remain popular with flight schools and private owners around the world. As we preserve each component, this airframe is set to support the next generation of Seneca operators whether they need engine accessories, flight controls, interior pieces, or turbo specific hardware. If you operate a Seneca and are watching for quality parts, stay tuned because more good inventory is on the way.

Cessna T207
The Cessna T207 is one of the true workhorses of the backcountry and commuter world... a stretched, turbocharged hauler built for places where runways are short, schedules are tight, and loads are heavy. Introduced in the late 1960s, the 207 took the proven Stationair formula and added 45 inches of cabin length, room for more passengers or gear, and a Continental TSIO-520 engine delivering 300–310 hp depending on the year. With rugged fixed gear, a roomy cabin, and the muscle to climb out of tough strips, the T207 quickly earned its place with air taxi companies, bush operators, and utility flyers who needed dependable power and volume in one package.
By the late ’70s, the turbocharged versions like the T207A only strengthened that reputation. Operators loved the aircraft’s ability to maintain strong performance at altitude, and the stretched fuselage became a favorite for short-haul commuter work, skydiving operations, and cargo transport. The long nose, big double doors, and increased internal space turned it into a flying pickup truck that could still deliver respectable speed and efficiency. Even today, the turbo 207 remains a rare but sought-after machine because of its unique blend of capacity and capability.
At BAS Part Sales, we currently have a Cessna T207 in our hangar, and our team is in the process of tearing it down to preserve and research every valuable component. These aircraft aren’t just big, they’re built with parts that stay in demand worldwide, especially engines, doors, control surfaces, interior components, and landing gear unique to the 207’s stretched airframe. As we document each piece, this airframe is entering its next chapter: supporting the operators who rely on tough, proven Cessna parts to keep their own Stationairs and 207s flying strong. If you run a 206 or 207, stay tuned, good parts are on the way.
